International Lawyer

We are currently expanding our team and are looking for an International Lawyer for legal support of all day-to-day operations in the Cyprus office.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Experience providing legal support to international companies or corporate groups.
• Practical knowledge of Cyprus corporate and commercial law.
• Experience working with Cyprus governmental authorities and external legal advisors.
• Good understanding of GDPR requirements and practical experience in data protection compliance.
• Experience establishing and improving document management and compliance processes.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.
• Excellent written and spoken English, Ukrainian.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure comprehensive legal support for the Cyprus office and the Group companies associated with it.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of legal agreements, including employment contracts, commercial agreements, consultancy agreements, supplier agreements, and other legal documentation.
• Liaise with company directors, corporate secretaries, external legal advisors, and Cyprus governmental authorities.
• Provide legal support in relationships with local contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Handle employment law and immigration matters, including the preparation of required documentation, communication with governmental authorities, and ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements.
• Maintain and organize legal documentation, ensuring proper document management, storage, and archiving in accordance with Cyprus legal requirements.
• Monitor compliance with corporate procedures and internal policies.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in Cyprus, assess their impact on the business, and proactively recommend and implement the necessary changes.
• Provide day-to-day legal advice and practical legal support to management and internal stakeholders.
